Birgitte Solem

Birgitte is happy to be working in theatre, TV and commercially. Television credits include: Alien Mysteries, Against the Wall, Breakout Kings (directed by Gavin Hood), Little Mosque on the Prairie, ReGenesis, Tilt and Train 48. She was also in Mio Adilman's short film Unlocked, which premiered at the 2009 TIFF, as well as Just Visiting, opposite her husband Raoul Bhaneja, and son Alexander.

Selected theatre credits include: Mom's the Word (both at the Drayton Festival and Magnus Theatre), Samkon and Francis Go Swimming (Toronto Fringe Festival), Language of the Heart and The Rochdale Project (Theatre Passe Muraille), the Hurricane Project (Summerworks Festival), Filthy Rich, Sometime, Never, Anne and Stolen Lives – The Albert Walker Story (The Blyth Festival), Fifteen Seconds (Great Canadian Theatre Company), False Confessions (Odyssey Theatre), Blithe Spirit (British American Dramatic Academy), Fast Lane and Sadly As I Tie my Shoes (National Arts Centre). She can also be seen in several commercials, and frequently performs, directs and writes murder mysteries at the Limelight Dinner Theatre with Mysteriously Yours.
